It's that time of the year!

First, I need to apologize for my lack of updating this blog! Sometimes it is just hard to get it all done! I'm not going to go back and add all the shoots I've done in the past time, but I'm going to try to stay caught up from now on!

A quick reminder for the upcoming months---it's Christmas card time and that means I'm booking shoots extremely fast! If you plan on having pictures made for your Christmas cards this year, please e-mail or call me as soon as possible. Currently, I'm booking weeknight shoots about 1 to 2 weeks out, but weekends are booking about a month in advance! This is a card I designed last year. I'm designing Christmas cards again for 2009. I have several options this year--- folded Christmas cards, front and back or regular photo cards! I'm even offering several types of paper to print it on! If you're looking for something DIFFERENT than everyone else, I can help you achieve just that!

On to my recent shoots! I had three shoots this weekend and here are two to share! I'm trying to stay as caught up as possible because I know what this time of the year is like! So I will be updating with more shoots later this week!

Cristi and Justin met with me at ACU on Saturday for an engagement session. They are both ACU students and will be getting married in June. Here are just a few of my favorites from their session. I met the Young's at ACU last weekend for their Christmas pictures. We had lots of laughs with the boys, but ended up with some cute pictures! Glenda wanted some pictures of the boys jumping off something....so we tried! I included a few pictures at the end with the crash they had...you could slowly see the youngest bumping his noggin. Whitney came over for a little while last night so we could shoot some 3 month pictures of Kennedy! She did GREAT! She really likes her little tongue! We got a few Mommy & Me pictures, as well as some with a football bow for daddy!

*I just noticed, I must have not saved the file right....I know I took that drool out of the one picture! I'll redo it!

Just a quick story about the Horton's. Amy lived in Olney, where I grew up for a short time; then after getting married she lived in Hamilton for a little while, where Jordan grew up. We got in touch through blogging and this weekend I finally had the chance to meet her wonderful family. They are an adorable family and were so easy to work with! I shot sisters Kaylee and Campbell tonight! They are both such sweet girls and did great! I was worried about rain, but the cloudy overcast helped me out a lot! We did get attacked by mosquitoes though...Hopefully the girls won't have too many itchies! Here's their slideshow...

I took Mallory & Austin's pictures tonight at a local home. Austin fell and skinned up his lip only 5 minutes into the shoot, I felt so bad! Thank goodness for photoshop, we were able to continue shooting! They are precious kiddos. Here's a sneak peak of the pictures. Don't forget to turn up the volume!

The Hale's

I've decided to try a new way of presenting proofs to clients. I made a video of the proofs. It takes less time to upload than uploading LOTS of pictures a few at a time!

I took the Hale's pictures last night at Jacob's Dream. They turned out beautiful, I'm sure glad I'm not the one who has to choose my favorite. Turn up the volume and enjoy!
